For international students
An upper-second class UK Bachelor's degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) in computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or a similarly quantitative subject. Programming experience in a language such as Python, C++ or Matlab is an advantage but is not mandatory. Some programming experience means that you have experience of working on projects deploying code or have taken modules/assessments in your previous education with coding components. If you do not have this knowledge, there will be tutorials offered at the beginning of the programme, but you will be expected to get up to speed rapidly. Overall grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subtests. Overall score of 100 with 24/30 in reading and writing and 20/30 in speaking and listening.
For Iranian students
Students need to have Bachelor's degree with an overall grade of 18/20 for courses requiring Upper second-class (2:1) degree. For courses requiring Lower second-class (2:2) degree, they need to have an overall grade of 16/20. Medical, Dental, Pharmacy or Veterinary Science degree with an overall grade of 17/20 or 15/20 will be considered.
