Learning resources centres (LRCs)
Kingston’s specialist LRCs on each campus offer library and computing facilities and are open into the evening, with 24-hour opening at Kingston Hill and Penrhyn Road during term time.
Subject-specific resources
Kingston’s close links with external bodies and investment in facilities ensure that students also have easy access to subject-specific resources.
Banking and finance students can use the Bloomberg trading room to practise different trading techniques (using live data)
Pharmacy students can test their skills in the new pharmacy practice lab
Games technology students can use Xbox and PSP consoles in the games lab
Journalism students have access to a fully equipped newsroom
Art and design students can use a digital media workshop with 122 iMac computers
Aerospace engineering students will have access to a Learjet 25 aeroplane, a Merlin flight simulator and large-scale wind tunnels
Accommodation
Kingston offers a range of high-quality halls, all located close to the University's campuses. Each hall consists of single-study bedrooms arranged in flats with self-catering kitchens. Different room types are available within a range of price bands.
