Students can apply for awards of varying amounts based on numerous factors from academic achievement to extracurricular success, country of origin and work with global partner organisations. A number of automatic scholarships are also offered for students with outstanding academic grades.
One of the main scholarships offered to international students is the Salford International Excellence Award, aiming to support talented, inspiring and creating students with a goal of being future leaders.
This scholarship supports a range of talented, inspiring and creative international students who aim to be the leaders of the future. It ranges from GBP 1,000 to GBP 5,000 with offer holders encouraged to apply, particularly if they are from a region with no specific scholarship available, have an offer to study an undergraduate programme and having gained advanced entry, have talents which complement the International Collaboration Zone strategy and have professional experience via work, extra-curricular activities, or creative or entrepreneurial projects.
