since 1966Brunel University London, founded in 1966, is an internationally-recognised university located in Uxbridge, London. Named in honour of the great Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Brunel is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The university is organised into three colleges – Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences; Business, Arts and Social Sciences; and Health and Life Sciences – as well as three major research institutes – Energy Futures and Environment; Health and Societies; and Materials and Manufacturing.
