The University of East Anglia (UEA) is a world-leading research university situated in Norwich, the UK. International students play a vital part of life at UEA, and the university offers a warm welcome and continued support both during and after your studies. At UEA, you will be taught by experts in their subject at a respected British University. You will also have access to courses, support and facilities tailored to your needs. The university currently offers a Language Buddy Support Scheme to help you practice your language skills, as well as a social programme to visit other cities such as London and Cambridge.
The quality of teaching at the institution was commended in the recent Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF 2017-2020) with a rating of Gold – the highest possible rating.

As an undergraduate international student, you will be guaranteed campus accommodation for your first year (subject to a few conditions), that means you will be surrounded by stunning English countryside, just a few minutes’ walk from all the campus facilities, with Norwich, one of the UK’s best small cities, right on your doorstep.
Postgraduate students are also able to stay in the university accommodation during the first year of their course. The university also provides information and advice for students, including those with families, wishing to on living off campus through the Home Run website.
