University of York
The University of York was founded in 1963 with 200 students. Since then, it has expanded to 11,000 students and has over 30 academic departments and research centres. The main campus at Heslington is a 200-acre landscaped park where the colleges and academic buildings are located within walking distance of each other. In addition to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the faculties of arts, social studies and sciences, The University also offers Distance Learning, Lifelong Learning and Continuing Professional Development. Students can avail of the on-campus accommodation available at the University.
