Carleton University

It awarded over CAD 19 million in financial aid to its students in the 2017-2018 academic year, and it also offers academic development workshops, writing support, dedicated fitness programmes and a variety of counselling services, too.
Carleton’s scenic riverside campus is based just south of the city centre in Ottawa, with on-campus accommodation which holds over 3,600 students.

The following are the steps through which students can apply for a degree at Carleton University:
1) Check application deadlines and requirements
Admission requirements and deadlines vary by programme. Students must refer to the detailed admissions requirements for their specific degree programme for their educational background.
2) Apply online and track application
Students can apply directly to Carleton University by completing its online International Student Application, at a cost of CAD 100 for processing fee, or through the central Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC).
3) Send in supporting documentation before deadlines
Students must submit official/original transcript(s) from high school and any post-secondary studies completed. If students are applying to a programme with supplemental requirements, they will also be required to provide the portfolio/audition/documents as indicated for that programme.
4) Receive admission decision
Students will view their offer package on their Carleton online profile. Important information about their degree programme, scholarship offer (if applicable), residence, documentation for study permit application and more is included with the offer.
5) Accept the Offer of Admission and confirm residence
If students have received an Offer of Admission and wish to accept, they need to do so by the date indicated on their offer letter in order to reserve their space in the programme.
