UQ faculties, schools and some affiliated industry groups and private-sector organisations offer undergraduate and postgraduate field-of-study scholarship opportunities. Some scholarships are also available for students studying an honours programme, and grants are available to some students for items such as costs associated with travel to international conferences.
The university also offers a range of Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) scholarships, providing up to AUD 40 million in funding support each year for the living and tuition expenses of HDR students.
