A modern and forward-thinking institution, Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a place for students from all over the world to develop into skilled and successful graduates. Established in 1991, the university is developing rapidly and has been named one of the world’s 150 best universities under 50 years old in the 2018 Times Higher Education Young University Rankings.
With two campuses in Perth (Joondalup and Mount Lawley) and one in Bunbury, south of Perth (South West Campus), around 6,000 international students head to the university each year. Perth is the capital city of Western Australia, and boasts some of the best weather in the whole of the country. Students can enjoy a thriving city as well as the many beaches, parks and forests nearby the university.

Facilities and Services
ECU offers financial support in the form of scholarships to help international students who require it. Students will have to meet eligibility criteria for all the scholarships on offer. Some of the scholarships available are:
Early Acceptance Scholarship: for those who apply and receive an offer to study at ECU far enough in advance. The award is AUD 1,000 towards second semester tuition costs.
Overseas Partner Scholarship: for those who have successfully completed a course at a specific overseas partner institution. The award is a 20% tuition fee discount for the entire course.
International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship: for those from specific overseas countries who have already achieved academic excellence. The award is a 20% tuition fee discount for the entire course.
International Undergraduate Scholarship: for those who will be studying for a bachelor’s degree. The award is a 20% tuition fee discount for the entire course.
There are numerous other scholarships available, including academic school-specific awards.
