About
CQUniversity Australia
Central Queensland University (CQUniversity) is one of the largest universities in Australia, and has campuses in Queensland, Sydney and Perth. CQUniversity Australia is also one of Queensland's first dual sector universities, offering over 300 courses including training programmes, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and apprenticeships. It is in the top two percent of universities worldwide.
CQUniversity Australia offers a wide range of careers support for students, and 80.4% of graduates go on to find work within three months of leaving the institution, which is 10 percent higher than the national average. The University is also known as being one of the top for graduate starting salaries. Careers help on offer includes information on sourcing an internship, how to write a CV and cover letter, and how to stand out in an interview.
As well as learning on campus full-time, students have the option of studying completely via distance education.
During their spare time, students are encouraged to meet new people, learn a new skill and pursue their existing interests by joining a club or society. These include everything from dance class to photography and sports teams, and there is also the option for them to start their own group.
Students can also give back to others by taking part in voluntary work, or becoming a mentor. Student services on offer, meanwhile, include counselling, learning support, a dedicated disability service and a student mentor programme to help new students to settle in.
