The Student Welfare Service at Western provides students with a variety of different academic support programs, ranging from language workshops to Peer Assisted Study Sessions. The trained Welfare Officers are welcoming and all meetings are confidential, meaning that students can seek help on personal issues too.
Being based in or around the city of Sydney means that students are able to explore one of the most famous cities in the world, and with over 150 student societies to get involved with on campus, there is lots to do for students outside of lectures.
