The University of Sydney
The University of Sydney, located in Sydney, Australia, is a world-renowned institution that is currently ranked in the top 50 universities in the world.* It is also first in Australia and fourth in the world for graduate employability (2018 QS Graduate Employability Rankings). Students come from 134 different countries to study at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
There are plenty of facilities to enjoy on campus, including a gym with a heated Olympic-size swimming pool and a rock climbing centre. Students can soak up some culture at the University’s art galleries and museums, grab coffee, breakfast or lunch at one of the 30 cafes and restaurants, and enjoy after-work drinks and entertainment at the on-campus bars.
All enrolled students have the opportunity to get involved in clubs and societies run by the University of Sydney Union (USU). There are more than 200, ranging from sports clubs to language and cultural groups. Students can also establish their own clubs, with support from USU.
There are many support services available to students, including disability services, careers advisers, a confidential counselling service, health service, and financial assistance office. When it comes to studying, students have access to the largest academic library in the southern hemisphere. It spans over 11 locations and holds more than 5.2 million books, journals and ebooks.
It is possible for students to expand their career opportunities through internships and work experience, as well as the option of studying abroad for part of their degree through one of the University’s 270 overseas programs.

The University has nearly 6000 computers available for individual and group study. These can be found in 11 library spaces, and dedicated learning hubs on the Camperdown/Darlington Campus.
Dining facilities
The campuses offer cafes, coffee carts, juice bars and restaurants. There are around 30 places to eat and the variety of food includes salads, baguettes, noodles and sushi.

Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness (SUSF) offers programs and options to suit a variety of interests. The University has courts for basketball, tennis and squash and a 50-metre indoor swimming pool.
