University of Canberra
The University of Canberra (UC) is located in Bruce, Canberra, Australia, and is ranked among the top 100 young universities by the prestigious 2018 Times Higher Education Young University Rankings. As a capital city, Canberra offers everything from culture, cafes, and sports, to vibrant shopping, community clubs, and exciting nightlife. UC graduates have an 89% employment rate on average have higher starting salaries than many top-performing universities in the country. Students also benefit from flexible study options – including intensive Summer and Winter programmes designed to speed up studies and allow for earlier graduation.
The University campus state-of-the-art facilities include subject-specific laboratories, a well-stocked library, café and bar, and numerous large, open lounge spaces for studying. There is also a convenience store, hairdresser, student radio station, health clinic and a highly-respected professional sports and fitness centre, which includes a fully equipped gym.
UC provides plenty of student support services including study skills programmes for additional help with learning and writing assignments, financial support, a confidential counselling service, and disability and international student support.
At the beginning of each semester, all new students are encouraged to participate in Orientation Week where they will get to meet other students, explore the campus, have any questions answered and adapt to their new environment.
There is also a dedicated Careers Service available to help students gain valuable job seeking skills and prepare them for a working career by teaching them how to: design CVs, write applications and learn interview techniques. There are also regular career workshops and training courses organised for students throughout the year.

There is also a capacity to study at any of these locations remotely through online study.

UC offers guaranteed, modern and secure on-campus accommodation for all new international students. Students can pick from a wide range of accommodation options from private studio apartments through to 12 individual bedrooms in a multi-share apartment.
