This taught programme, which is available full- or part-time, you’ll develop advanced environmental planning and management skills. ‌You'll also gain an understanding of the environmental implications of development action and of the wider social, political and economic issues surrounding decisions about the environment. This programme is iema accredited which allows students to get one year free membership to iema. In addition to this, on successful completion of the programme, students will be eligible to upgrade their iema membership to ‘associate’ level. Careers: There are significant career opportunities in the field of planning, urban regeneration and environmental management working for local authorities, the private and voluntary sectors. Within the planning sphere graduates can become involved in a variety of different positions concerned with helping to improve the quality of our towns and cities.

For international students

You will normally need a 2:1 honours degree or above, or equivalent. No specific subjects are required.; We also encourage applications from those with relevant experience and professional qualifications. Each application will be assessed on its own merits. IELTS: Overall IELTS 6.5, no less than 6.0 in component scores. TOEFL iBT: 88 or above with minimum scores in components as follows: Listening and Writing 19, Reading 19, Speaking 20.
