Entering the Masters specialisation in Molecular Chemistry requires a Bachelors degree in one of the subjects below. Your foreign Bachelor's degree must be equivalent to a Bachelor's degree obtained at a Dutch research university. Please be aware that there are two types of higher education in the Netherlands: a university of applied sciences and a research university. Any deficiencies in this matter should be eliminated before you can take part in this specialisation. Students must have passed (preliminary) examinations containing the following subject matter: Chemical Analysis (3 credits)Organic Chemistry (6 credits)Inorganic Chemistry (3 credits)Physical Chemistry / Thermodynamics (6 credits)Biochemistry (6 credits)Quantum Mechanics / Chemical Bonding (6 credits)Spectroscopy (3 credits)Solid State Chemistry (6 credits)Mathematics (6 credits)Physics (6 credits)Experimental skills, at least 12 credits of practical courses on analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biochemistry and/or physicsAdditional 30 credits of chemistry-related courses on advanced Bachelor's level Please note 1 credit is equal to 28 hours of study load.
