2-year course To be considered for entry into this course, you must have: Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, with A Chemical Engineering Systems major; A Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 65%. An engineering degree or major in an equivalent specialisation from another institution, with A WAM of at least 65% (or equivalent). 3-year course To be considered for entry into this course, you must have: An undergraduate degree in any discipline, with: The equivalent of 25 points (two subjects) of first year Mathematics, specifically Calculus 2 and Linear Algebra; The equivalent of 25 points (two subjects) of first year Chemistry, specifically Chemistry 1 and Chemistry 2; A weighted average mark of at least 65% (or equivalent). English language requirements: IELTS (academic English Only): 6.5 (no band less than 6.0) TOEFL Internet-based test: 79 + ; Writing 21; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic: 58 + no communicative skill below 50 Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): 176 + no skill below 169.
