Technology has never been more vital for education, but it can be difficult to decide how to deploy it in the classroom.
This Melbourne MicroCert is designed to provide teachers with a strong evidence base to inform how they utilise technology.
Guided by leading practitioners from the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, you will explore frameworks, research and literature that identify and evaluate different technologies and digital resources. You will examine how to meet learning needs in your own educational context, and how to purposefully use technology to enhance your student outcomes.
This Melbourne MicroCert is delivered fully online, offering a convenient way to advance your skillset, from a location that suits you.
Who is it for?
This Melbourne MicroCert is ideal for teachers who are currently in, or who are seeking leadership roles. The use of digital technologies and ICT in teaching practice is highlighted in the national standards for teaching across four levels of teacher expertise. This Melbourne MicroCert addresses the outcomes at the Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT) levels and can be used to add to your portfolio of evidence for HALT applications.
