The Flexible Double Degree groups allow students to combine two Bachelor degrees of their choice. Students can build their own combination to suit both a career path and a personal passion. The Engineering and Advanced Computing Group allows for over 80 unique degree combinations. These options allow you to couple technical knowledge with a diverse range of options in science, business and social sciences. Applicants who complete a recognised secondary/senior secondary/post-secondary/tertiary sequence of study will be assessed on the basis of an equivalent selection rank that is calculated upon application. English Language Requirements IELTS Academic and IELTS UKVI Academic [excluding One Skill Retake and IELTS Online] - Overall score of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band. TOEFL iBT [excluding Home Edition] - Overall score of 80 (Reading - 20; Writing - 20; Listening - 18; Speaking - 18). Cambridge C1 Advanced - Overall score of 176 minimum 169 in each band. CECS VTARA Honours Scholarship

Value of scholarship

The Scholarship is valued at AUD $15,000 per student per year with an additional AUD $2,650 travel grant, which will enable recipients to complete the industry experience component of their scholarship.

How to applay

Applications are called for at the beginning of each calendar year with a closing date set by the College. The application must be submitted on the prescribed electronic form and supporting documentation forwarded separately to the College prior to the closing date published on the ANU scholarships website.

Requierments

The award is available each year to a current or prospective ANU student who: (a) is an international student; (b) is enrolled in an embedded Honours program offered by the ANU College of Engineering & Computer Science and has completed a minimum of 96 units of ENGN, COMP or CECS courses OR is enrolled in a single Honours year program offered by the ANU College of Engineering & Computer Science in the year of scholarship offer; (c) has a strong academic record represented by a minimum career GPA of 5.5/7.0 at ANU; (d) has demonstrated interest in areas related to Information, Energy, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering. (e) can demonstrate the experience and / or knowledge necessary to deal with the potential difficulties of an overseas internship in a developing country.

How to applay

Students are required to submit a written proposal related to the behavioural ecology or projects in other biological disciplines that focus on behaviour, ecology, natural history or conservation. The proposal must be submitted to the school by email. The application period is between 31 August - 30 December each year.

Requierments

An outstanding applicant who has been accepted to study behavioural ecology or conservation biology for an Honours Program within The Australian National University; or an outstanding applicant who is within 12 months, as at the closing date, of having completed the degree of Bachelor of Science with Honours at The Australian National University. Projects involving long-term captivity, killing or surgery on animals will not be considered. Preference will be given to applicants based or co-supervised in the Division of Ecology, Evolution and Genetics during their Honours year.
