Present a relevant Bachelor degree or international equivalent With a minimum overall grade of distinction or higher; or an equivalent combination of qualifications, research publications and/or professional experience related to the field of study. 2. Have the written approval of an identified supervisor for the research project/thesis. 3. Provide: A research proposal outlining your intended research, (applicants should seek guidance from the potential supervisor regarding length and content); Original evidence of all relevant academic qualifications and graduation documentation (with English translation as appropriate); An up-to-date CV including academic qualifications, work experience and research publications; At least two academic referee reports. English Language Requirements IELTS Academic and IELTS UKVI Academic [excluding One Skill Retake and IELTS Online] - Overall score of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band. TOEFL iBT Paper Edition and TOEFL iBT [excluding Paper Edition and Home Edition] - Overall score of 80 (Reading - 20; Writing - 20; Listening - 18; Speaking - 18). Cambridge C1 Advanced - Overall score of 176 minimum 169 in each band. PTE Academic and PTE Academic UKVI [excluding PTE Academic Online] - Overall score of 64 minimum 55 in each band.

Director's Scholarship for Academic Excellence is offered by ANU College of Science to the very best international students from the ANU - SDU Joint Science College (JSC) at Shandong University, Weihai, China. The scholarship rewards high quality, top-performing students from JSC who come to study at ANU. The Award is available to a prospective ANU student who: is an International student; and is currently enrolled in the ANU-SDU Joint Science College at Shandong University, Weihai; and receives an offer of admission to a vertical double degree combination of undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs offered by the ANU College of Science; and has not received the Award previously. The scholarship offers an award of AUD $15,000 over two years. The award is paid in equal instalments after census date of the first and third semester after commencement at ANU.

ANU College of Science International Joint and Dual Award PhD Scholarship

Each year the ANU College of Science ('the College') may offer a number of awards known as the International Joint and Dual Award PhD Scholarship ('the Award'). Funding for this Award has been provided by the ANU College of Science. The objective of the Award is to provide support and funding for outstanding international candidates to enable them to pursue an international Institutional Joint or Dual Award PhD program with the following partner institutions: Indian Institute of Science (IISc); or Indian Institute of Technology - Madras (IITM). The Award is available each year to a prospective international ANU student who: is enrolling full-time in an Institutional Joint or Dual Award PhD program of study for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, based in the ANU College of Science; and has demonstrated H1 equivalence. The value of the Award is stated in the letter of offer. The Award will be paid in fortnightly instalments, unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer. The Award may contain any or all of the following benefits: Stipend Scholarship: A recipient may be awarded a stipend scholarship equivalent to the value of the Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) stipend scholarship. The Award is indexed each year on 1 January; and/or Higher Degree Research (HDR) Fee Remission Merit Scholarship: An International recipient may be recommended for an HDR Fee Remission Merit Scholarship to cover the International Student Fees for the standard duration of the Higher Degree Research (HDR) program subject to the recipient being ranked as competitive in a merit-based selection process.
