The Graduate Certificate of Studies is a flexible option for graduate studies at ANU for students whose needs are not met by following a program of study in a single academic discipline. Subject to meeting course entry requirements, you will be able to select courses from across the graduate course offerings available, allowing you to structure your studies and direct your learning in a way that meets your academic, personal and professional interests and enables you to develop skills and expertise in a range of learning areas, for example, a combination of courses in art history, environmental science, and management. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion, students will be able to: understand a body of theoretical and applied topics; apply skills in analysis, critical evaluation, and/or professional functions to solve complex problems; demonstrate creativity and flexibility in the application of knowledge and skills to new situations; and communicate knowledge, ideas, and solutions to problems to both specialists and non-specialists.

For international students

Applicants must present one of the following: A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 4.0/7.0 At least 10 years of work experience in an ANZSCO Skill Level 1 role The GPA for a Bachelor program will be calculated from (i) a completed Bachelor degree using all grades and/or (ii) a completed Bachelor degree using all grades other than those from the last semester (or equivalent study period) of the Bachelor degree. The higher of the two calculations will be used as the basis for admission. English Language Requirements IELTS Academic and IELTS UKVI Academic [excluding One Skill Retake and IELTS Online] - Overall score of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band. TOEFL iBT Paper Edition and TOEFL iBT [excluding Paper Edition and Home Edition] - Overall score of 80 (Reading - 20; Writing - 20; Listening - 18; Speaking - 18). Cambridge C1 Advanced - Overall score of 176 minimum 169 in each band. PTE Academic and PTE Academic UKVI [excluding PTE Academic Online] - Overall score of 64 minimum 55 in each band.
