Students get the chance to undertake work experience on real projects and are able to leave QUT with relevant, up-to-date skills to directly impact their working lives.
Based across two campuses – Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove – QUT enrols almost 50,000 students each year with nearly 8,000 international students. Students are spread across six schools – QUT Business School, Creative Industries, Education, Health, Law and Science and Engineering.
QUT has been the subject of significant investment in recent years to create state-of-the-art learning facilities, including an AUD230 million Science and Engineering Centre, a new AUD76.7 million Education Precinct which opened this year and an AUD80 million Creative Industries Precinct including recording facilities, galleries and editing suites.
The university offers a vibrant campus with over 100 student clubs and societies across a range of activities, whilst free workshops are put on to help students build their skills.
