Equivalent to Australian Year 11 (part 1) or Australian Year 12 (part 2). To be accepted into a Monash College Diploma, you must meet the academic and English language requirements. You will also need to check the age, subject and course prerequisites before you apply. Prerequisite subjects. You must meet the additional course prerequisite subjects which are equivalent to Australian Year 11 (part 1) or Australian Year 12 (part 2). Part 1Part 2Mathematics and Chemistry or Physics, Mathematics. Part 2: Students may need to complete a higher level mathematics unit as part of the Diploma for entry into the faculty. Part 1: 16 years, Part 2: 17 years. If you do not meet the age requirements, you may be offered a deferred place. English entry requirements Diploma Part 1 IELTS: 5.5 overall (no band lower than 5.0) TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 52 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 15, Listening: 5, Reading: 5 and Speaking: 14 Equivalent approved English test Diploma Part 2 IELTS: 6.0 overall (Writing not less than 6.0) TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 69 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21
