To be eligible for entry to our research courses, you need to have achieved the following: A minimum of four years previous study in a tertiary institution. Meet the eligibility criteria of the Graduate Studies Committee for the proposed enrolling area/s. Confirmation from the head of your enrolling area that the necessary supervision and facilities can be adequately provided to support your research. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) - Writing: 7.0, Speaking: 6.0, Reading: 7.0, Listening: 6.5; Overall band score 6.5; TOEFL Score: 79 (overall); Reading 13; Listening 13; Speaking 18; Writing 21; Pearson Test of English - Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking - 50; Overall band score 58; TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and PBT (Paper Based Test) - 570 and 4.5 in TWE; C1 Advanced Formerly known as Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) 176 with 169 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. C2 Proficiency Formerly known as Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) 190 with 176 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.

Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS) How to apply Applications accepted at any time. For further information, please contact the University website. Eligibility requirements AAS are offered to people from Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific. Value: AAS are offered for the minimum period necessary for the individual to complete the academic program specified by the Australian higher education institution, including any preparatory training. The following benefits generally apply: Full tuition fees. Return air travel—payment of a single return, economy class airfare to and from Australia, via the most direct route. Establishment allowance—a once only payment of AUD $5,000 as a contribution towards as accommodation expenses, text books, study materials. Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE) is a fortnightly contribution to basic living expenses paid at a rate determined by Australian Government. From 1 January 2015, CLE payable to Scholars studying under an AAS is AUD $30,000 per year. Introductory Academic Program (IAP)—a compulsory 4-6 week program prior to the commencement of formal academic studies covering information on life and study in Australia. Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the award (for award holder only)—provided to cover the student's basic medical costs (except pre existing conditions). Pre-course English (PCE) fees—if deemed necessary PCE may be available for students for in-country and/or in-Australia training. Supplementary Academic Support may be available to ensure a Scholar's academic success or enhance their academic experience. Students have access to a number of support services including health services, a childcare service, housing services and additional learning support. Other facilities include a sports centre, an art gallery, a modern library, study spaces, an on-site bookshop, and plenty of food and drink outlets.
